No Knead Bread
This is the recipe to my standard no knead bread. Look for more posts with yummy variations.
First just dump all the ingredients into a large bowl and mix well.
Ingredients:
3 C flour
1/2 t instant yeast
1 1/4 t salt
1 1/2 C warm water
Once thats mixed, leave on your counter, covered, for 12-18 hours. I usually leave mine overnight.
Once you're ready to bake put your dutch oven in a cold oven and preheat both to 450°. Here's a picture of mine that I purchased from Amazon.
While your oven is heating up, dump your bread dough onto a piece of parchment paper. Fold it over a couple of times with a little bit of flour (be careful not to pop all of those lovely bubbles). Dough will be much wetter than normal bread dough. Now, just let it rest until your oven is hot.
When your oven as reached 450° CAREFULLY put the parchment paper and dough in the dutch oven and cover it up.
Bake for about 35 minutes.
I'd like to be able to say its best when warm but I'm not sure . . . I've never eaten in any other way. Our loaf is usually devoured within just a few minutes.
